Few weeks ago I bought a Blue Yeti microphone, which looks a decent usb high class microphone, that has 3 capacitive microphones (tri-capsule) and different recording pattern modes. Though when I gave that a out-of-box try, I can hardly to see the sound capture working on my laptop and this is a disappointing thing. After fiddled that for a while, I found the sound capturing became work normal somehow if I cock the usb cable.
The issue is not the usb connector loose issue though cause I can see the audio device "Blue Yeti" steady on my laptop. It's PCB! After disassembled the microphone,
(refer to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV74lXvfwaQ)
I found there are two PCBs connected with 6 pins. I tried to use the multimeter to test if there's the cold soldering issue.
As expecting, this is the root cause of my issue and I fixed it by soldering the joints with a wire as below pictures.
